Another forum member who I have bought a couple of engines off. Very friendly and a very active member on the forums. He also has a great collection of American Jensen engines
Michael at Busted Bricks is a friendly guy who makes all his own accessories, and sells other nik naks at fantastic prices. The accessories are kit built and are very fun to make. From his marble run to a sterling engine you will be impressed with the range.
Ben Peake is a world class maker of small one off to batch production models, typically only making 50 of each engine. But each engine tells it own historical story, and for a reasonable price you can have a truly unique piece of steam history.
Although I have only know Karl for a year he is still a great friend of mine, and of the steam world. He takes great pride in restoring engines that would of ended up on the scrapheap years before. Go on guys give him a challenge…
Well if you want a website to see, where some of the best engines in the world are then go here. Roger has some of the rarest engines in the world but he is modest about it. Always helping out people in dire need of advise, a top man!
I known Fred a few years now through our local museum. His claim to fame is the running of the biggest steam toy event in the UK (maybe the world!?!) Check out his website for more info.
